Editor’s Letter: Looking Ahead to a New Year with us
Living with COVID-19 has been many things: terrifying, tragic and surreal but we have hope that 2022 will be a better year for us

We have to agree that 2021 has been a year like no other. 2021 has been a whirlwind of a year. One where we’ve had to once again adapt to the new reality of life — where the pandemic has been our main challenge. I think that 2021 was, for most of us, a better year than 2020 and we should be grateful for that.
Living with COVID-19 for the past two years has been many things: terrifying, tragic, surreal, a time of unexpected discovery, a time of learning new ways to navigate life; but above all, it has been a test of patience. Each of us faced our personal challenges, from losing loved ones to having work and personal lives thrown into chaos. We adapted. We’re still here. We’re home. We’re safe.
But it’s a new year, 2022 will be better. And I have no doubt the months ahead will give us greater opportunities to enjoy life to the fullfest.
